Leeward Islands Masters Cricket Tournament Cancelled

The Leewards Islands Masters Cricket Association, will like to inform its many partners, stakeholders and participating territories, that the annual Leeward Islands Masters Cricket tournament, slated for 28th May to 1st June, 2020 in St. Kitts has been effectively cancelled.

The very difficult decision was arrived at, after an emergency meeting with the executive of the Association and in consultation with the Health authorities and other stake holders, as regards the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which is affecting sporting activities across the world.

The proposal from the executive, is that by God’s grace and all being well, that we can make the 2021 tournament in St. Kitts even bigger and better.

In the meantime, the Association is urging all Masters Cricketers and their families, in all of the territories, to stay safe and to adhere to the necessary and prudent bits of advice given by the local authorities.

In the interim, the executive will continue to make plans for the tournament in 2021 and will keep all concerned updated.

We take this opportunity to thank all of our stakeholders and member territories for your understanding and patience throughout this period.
