St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The heavily indebted regional airline LIAT made a symbolic flight from Antigua and Barbuda to Dominica on Sunday (November 1), its first flight since being grounded in March.
A High Court-appointed administrator is tackling the issues related to LIAT’s close to EC$100 million reported debt including negotiating with workers over severance payments and unpaid salaries.
Officials have announced plans to shortly provide a schedule of flights to other Caribbean destinations including the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
