by Kediesha Perry (Jamaica Observer) Social media influencer Mahjah Hype is currently in detention at the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office Adult Detention Center in Georgia, USA. The comedian is facing charges for simple battery and felony charges of making “terroristic threats and acts”.
According to the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, Mahjah Hype was arrested and processed on February 19, 2023 and remains in custody without bond.
Several efforts made to find out if the charges were in relation to a previous domestic abuse incident were unsuccessful.
There is no attorney on record representing the embattled comedian.
