St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Superintendent Cromwell Henry is confirming the death of a female possibly in her 20s following reports of a house fire that occurred in close proximity to the old Sugar Factory on Thursday (Oct. 21).
Police and fire personnel responded to the scene sometime after 5 p.m. and rescued a male occupant who is now in critical condition.
The senior cop dismissed allegations that a child was in the house and confirmed that “the child is safe and was with the neighbours when the police arrived”.
Details surrounding the death of the young lady are sketchy but reports suggest foul play.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
