St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) — A young man was shot in the Hanley’s Road area in Nevis last evening (December 10)
WINN contacted the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force to ascertain more information regarding the incident. Commenting on the matter was Superintendent Lyndon David, head of the Nevis division of the force.
“We are investigating a shooting incident which took place in Hanley’s Road…that’s in Gingerland. This incident would have taken place sometime after 7 pm. Based on the injuries that we saw, the person should be in a stable condition at this time.”
The name of the young man was not disclosed.
Superintendent David stated that items of evidential value were recovered from the scene.
The police are seeking the assistance of the public regarding this incident. Persons with information are asked to contact the police at 469-5391 or their nearest police station.
