BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, 14th September 2021 – Montraville Farms-CleanRite Old Road United Jets is taking steps to support the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.

On Monday 13th September the Club, represented by its Captain, Nequan Browne and Corporate Partner Samal Duggins, made a presentation of cleaning supplies and school supplies to schools throughout the St Thomas-Trinity area including the Bronte Welsh Primary School, Verchilds High School, Tyrell Williams Primary School, Old Road Day Care Centre and Challengers Day Care. These supplies included masks, dispensers, sanitizer, hand soap, disinfectant as well as an assortment of backpacks, notebooks, crayons and writing material.

Browne explained that this donation is in furtherance of the Club’s desire to assist and enhance the wider community through support, engagement, promotion and education. He stated, “It is really important for us as a Club not only to excel on the football pitch but to ensure that our activities off the pitch uplift and enhance the lives of the people in our communities, particularly the youth. We firmly believe in young people supporting and uplifting other young people.”

Quasim Walker owner of CleanRite added that he was extremely pleased to support the Club in its drive to keep the community safe. “Our Company prides itself in offering the most effective cleaning processes and cleaning supplies. Therefore, we are confident that the schools throughout the community will benefit immensely from the use of these supplies and equipment.”

In support Samal Duggins of Montraville Farms underscored how important it was for the Corporate Partners to not only assist with the development of the game but to support the Club in its mandate to improve the lives of the members of the wider community.

Earlier in the year the Club celebrated its newly formed partnership with Montraville Farms and CleanRite by announcing the installation of a free Wi-Fi hotspot on the main street between Hermitage Road and Wingfield Road.
