St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Minister of Public Infrastructure, Ian Liburd is speaking on the recent downgrading of the OECS Civil Aviation Authority to Category 2 rating by the Federal Aviation Authority.
According to Minister Liburd, the government did its part but the blame is laid squarely at the feet of two other territories.
Earlier in May, the FAA flagged the subregion body for its failure to implement a number of measures that would bring it in line with the United States-base agency.
Minister Liburd reminded that the issue of being part of a body such as the Civil Aviation Authority is that when one country fails in its part, every territory is branded.
