St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The impact of COVID-19 on the local economy has resulted in the government paying out more than EC$11 million in severance claims.
That’s according to Minister Wendy Phipps who gave a breakdown of claims and payments at the recent press conference hosted by the prime minister.
Minister Phipps did not give a comparative analysis of the numbers for both St. Kitts and Nevis, but reported that most severance claims from Nevis were honored.
