St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): In a release from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, an autopsy was performed on the body of 62-year-old Arthur Belle, also known as Arthur Jacobs, of Ponds Pasture on November 16, by Resident Pathologist, Dr. Adrian Nunez.
Dr. Nunez concluded that Jacobs’ death was as a result of multiple shock and multiple trauma injuries.
Subsequently, 44-year-old Inshan Mohammed of Pine Gardens, Shadwell Housing was arrested on Tuesday, November 17, and charged for the offence of Causing Death by Dangerous Driving.
According to the release Mohammed is accused of causing the death of 62-year-old Arthur Jacobs of Ponds Pasture with whom he collided in a traffic accident on November 13, 2020. Mohammed is currently in Police custody.
Mr. Jacobs died after the accident on the Bay Road Friday night (November 13).
The accident occurred on the Island Bay Road near Sol Station sometime after 6:00 p.m.
Mohammed was traveling from Birdrock towards Central Basseterre and after passing the main entrance of the Sol Station, collided with Jacobs.
