St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Construction on the interior space of the expansion project at the Alexandra Hospital is expected to resume shortly after a near two-month delay.

“The message I got from the permanent secretary[of health] is that while she couldn’t give me a precise date she knows that the construction will restart soon,” Brantley said. “We expect that the contractors who have already been met with that they will be back on the job very soon to deal with the interior space”
The $19 million project, which will see a new wing of more than 60,000 square feet added to the existing building, will include a physiotherapy wing, pediatric isolation wing, laboratory wing, operating theatre, and radiology wing.
