Basseterre, St. Kitts (SKNIS): A toast will be held every night of the three-night St. Kitts Music Festival, in celebration of its 25th anniversary.

Minister of Tourism, Honourable Marsha Henderson said this during her appearance on the popular radio and television show ‘In Focus’ on June 14.

She added, “We are going to have a grand celebration with fireworks and confetti in toast of the 25th anniversary.”

The toast is designed with patrons in mind and will be executed compliments of some of the sponsors of the annual event.

Chairman of the Music Festival Executive Committee, Allister Williams said, “It is a huge milestone for us considering where we came from because when the festival started we were new to these kinds of things but we punch above our weight and we delivered a product that is exceptional and sustainable and I don’t believe that we would have lasted this long had it not been for those two ingredients.”

During the toast, popular DJs will be instrumental in creating a festive mood for all patrons.

“It is going to be a party-like atmosphere at a specific time, hopefully around midnight with the intention for it to be a celebration party and so we want folks to come out early and be there as we celebrate 25 years of excellence in music,” said Mr. Williams.

The venue is currently being constructed and physical ticket sales began last week.
