St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Ms. Natasha Grey has been named as the People’s Action Movement (PAM) candidate to contest the East Basseterre constituency in the next general election.
The announcement of Grey’s candidacy came at a press conference hosted Monday, October 18.
“We opened nominations on June 8 of this year for anyone desirous of representing PAM in Constituency 1. When that exercise closed on June 30, we emerged with the undisputed name of Lawyer Natasha Shanny Grey to be the next candidate for the People’s Action Movement in East Basseterre,” said Leader of PAM Shawn Richards.
Ms. Grey replaces Ian “Patches” Liburd as the PAM East Basseterre candidate following his defeat in the 2020 general elections to the St. Kitts Nevis Labour Party’s Dr. Geoffrey Hanley.
Ms. Natasha Grey most recently served as General Secretary of the People Action Movement and held various positions such as Deputy Chair, Treasurer, and Assistant General Secretary.
