St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Authorities at the National Emergency Management Agency and the St Kitts Met Office are closely monitoring a newly formed Tropical Wave.
The wave is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms and is located between the west coast of Africa and the Cape Verde Islands
The National Hurricane Center in an update stated that the wave is moving westward at 15 to 20 mph. It has a 10 percent chance of formation during the next 48 hours and a 60 percent chance in the next 7 days.
Residents are also being urged to stay tuned for further updates.
