St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Academic Scholarships for tertiary study in the Republic of Cuba are available for students interested in pursuing studies in the medical field and one non-medical field for the 2023 academic year.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, applications are now open to interested individuals in the Federation.
The nine scholarships are being offered in the following areas:
Five scholarships for Medicine
One scholarship for Nursing/Health Technology
Two scholarships for specialisation in Medicine
One scholarship for a non-medical discipline
Those who wish to pursue a medical speciality must have graduated from Cuba with a medical degree.
Eligible candidates should be under 25, a high school or college graduate, and come from low-income families.
Applicants should submit the following documents to Ms Jamilah Adams at the Human Resource Management Department at Government Headquarters.
a certified copy of their degree,
a certified copy of transcripts,
an original health certificate indicating a negative HIV test result,
a certification that shows female applicants are not pregnant,
a criminal record,
and ten photos (size 1 x 1 inch)
The deadline for submissions and supporting documents is August 31.
