Nineteen New Covid-19 Cases Recorded, Active Cases at 301

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Nineteen new cases were reported June 23, 2021, by Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Hazel Laws pushing St. Kitts and Nevis’ Covid-19 active cases to 301 with three Covid-19 related deaths.

Dr. Laws disclosed that 39 of these cases were identified in Her Majesty’s Prison in Basseterre, St. Kitts, since the outbreak at the prison on June 09, 2021.

As of June 23, seven people are currently hospitalised as a result of the coronavirus disease with the twin-island nation recording 92 recoveries.

The Federation now has 396 confirmed Covid-19 cases with 381 identified on St. Kitts and 15 for the island of Nevis.
