St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): An autopsy performed on the body of 40-year-old Veon Sutton of Stoney Hills, Nevis on March 25, 2021, by Resident Pathologist, Dr. Adrian Nuñez has ruled out foul play.
On Tuesday (March 23), WINN received reports that a body was discovered in a shallow grave in Bath Village, Nevis, and police investigations were underway. Subsequent reports identified the dead man as Veon Sutton.
Dr. Nuñez concluded that his death was a result of mechanical asphyxia due to “bronchoaspiration”, or the inhalation of gastric contents into the lower respiratory tract.
