St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) — The Youth Arm of the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP) is receiving high commendation for the second phase of its “Beatification Project” which saw the repainting of the Gingerland Cemetery wall on Sunday, January 24, 2021.

In a Facebook post on the “NRP Youth Arm” page which gathered near 200 likes and 13 shares, it stated “we charged enthusiastically into Gingerland this morning [Jan 24.] at 7 to undertake the painting of the long burial wall, but teamwork makes the dream works! We were done in less than four hours. The wall is now painted in a fresh new color dubbed Tropical Peach”.

Comments on the Facebook post read “Upness. But next time y’all invite me, I want to help”; “Great job. Community spirit indeed”; and I say kudos for the impressive display and the deep-rooted gesture”

The NRP Youth Arm Beautification Project was inaugurated on October 04, 2020. The first phase saw a complete restoration of the welcome sign of the Cherry Garden Housing Project in St. John’s Parish, Nevis, which was officially opened in January 2011.

The NRP Youth Arm said its looks forward to doing more community development projects around Nevis.
