St.Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Odisi Band is celebrating 20 years in the entertainment industry, and its lead vocalist Mr Kenny Eazi Warner, took to social media to highlight some of the major achievements of the band since its existence.
Warner described the Odisi Band as the longest-serving jam band in the history of Nevis, the only jam band in the Federation to still have more than half of its original members, the band from Nevis with the most consecutive contributions to St. Kitts Nevis National Carnival and the band that has contributed most songs to Culturama in history.
The Culturama Secretariat extended a congratulatory message to the Odisi Band on its two decades in the industry, highlighting how it has impacted the Culturama festival over the years.
“Congratulations to the Odisi Band on reaching the big milestone of 20 years of outstanding entertainment for the people of the Federation. Your talent has greatly enriched the Nevis Culturama Festival and brought joy to countless persons. Thank you for the many contributions you have made to our cultural celebrations. Here’s to many more years of great music.”
The Band released its album for Culturama 49 dubbed ‘Odisi Rule’. Its upcoming events include Band House Lime and Live Stream on July 22, Culturama 49 Opening Ceremony at the Culturama Village on July 27, Nevis Water Department BBQ at Pump Road on August 04, Culturama 49 Jouvert on August 07 and Culturama Parade and Last Lap on August 08.
