St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): As the Federation was affected by the weather system now known as Hurricane Iota, the new road built, as part of the Old Road Rehabilitation Project, was opened temporarily to road users.
The road is now closed to traffic and work has resumed on the EC$32 million, two-year-old project.
In an attempt to get an update on the status of the project that is now nine months past the estimated completion date, WINN contacted the Director of Public Works, Cromwell Williams.
Mr. Williams was unavailable for comment at news time Tuesday morning (November 17).
