St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – The island of Anguilla is in a state of shock after news broke of the accidental death of a toddler.
The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) confirmed that on sometime after 4 p.m. on July 12, an accident occurred at a private home in The Farrington, Anguilla, resulting in a toddler’s death.
Reliable sources informed WINN that the victim of the tragic accident was a one-year-old female who was run over by a vehicle driven by a close relative.
According to the source, the relative was leaving the residence, and the toddler ran out of the residence to go to the relative and was unseen; as the individual reversed, they didn’t realise she came out and ran behind the vehicle, resulting in the toddler being run over.
The RAPF is investigating the circumstances surrounding this accident.
