St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – Ms Dileeni Daniel-Selveratnam departed the Clayton J Lloyd International Airport on Thursday afternoon, June 01, 2023, marking the end of her assignment as Governor of Anguilla and the beginning of her vacation in Queen City, Nevis.

During a brief Dialogue on “Lloyd’s Live”, Selveratnam said she plans to unwind during her vacation in Nevis after her two-and-a-half-year service to Anguilla.

Lloyd questioned, “Where are you off to now?”

Selveratnam stated, “I’m going to Nevis, just for a few days, to recuperate.”

Selveratnam journeyed to Nevis aboard a chartered flight by Trans Anguilla Airways.

The Nevis Tourism Authority continues its campaign of ensuring that people of all walks of life and cultures choose the island of Nevis as their vacation spot.

The outgoing Governor has served Anguilla since January 2021 and will take up a new appointment in June 2023. She previously held positions in the Cabinet Office as Director of Energy and Industrial Strategy, Director of Strategy and Change in the Ministry of Justice, Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Justice and more.

Selveratnam is taking some time to relax before flying back to the U.K, where she will receive her assignment to serve as the Governor of the Turks and Caicos Islands, succeeding outgoing Governor Mr Nigel Dakin.

Succeeding Selveratnam is Ms Julia Crouch, who, prior to her new appointment, served as Head of Economics and Global Issues in Moscow, Russia.
