St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Paediatric League of St Kitts and Nevis (PALS) is seeking the community’s financial assistance to help save the life of a child.
Three-year-old Bria Arthurton is in critical condition, as she, on June 12, 2022 suffered a ruptured esophageal vein. According to PALS, the child is in need of urgent medical assistance at a hospital overseas and will need to travel via Air Ambulance. The cost of the surgery is quite expensive, hence the need for financial assistance.
In 2021, Bria was admitted to the Joseph N France General Hospital and was diagnosed with Esophageal Varices, a life threatening disease that causes severe bleeding. Through the assistance of PALS, the child was taken to Santo Domingo where she had several band ligation procedures; but that was just a temporary solution.
To contribute to Bria Arthurton’s medical fund, donations can be made to Paediatric Assistance League at Republic Bank- Account Number 930200003717 or dropped off at Harper’s Office Depot.
