St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Mrs. Natasha “Shanny” Grey-Brookes, the People’s Action Movement (PAM) candidate for East Basseterre says she remains confident that she will win the seat in the next general election.

Mrs. Grey-Brookes is expected to come up against the Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley of the St. Kitts Nevis Labour Party who defeated Mr. Ian “Patches” Liburd in the June 05, 2020 General Election.

“I don’t intend to think that everything should be taken for granted; I would do all that I can with the support I have been given so far and I would not give up until the last vote is counted in Constituency 1 and Natasha Grey-Brookes is the winner for that particular seat. I am in it to win it and with God’s help, I will be victorious,” said Mrs. Grey-Brookes when speaking at the PAM press conference on Tuesday (Feb. 22).

“I’ve always been a confident person and I try my best to give my all in everything that I do. I’ve done my best and I’ve worked hard for other people to be elected and there is no doubt that I would do the same for me,” she added.

General Elections in St. Kitts and Nevis are constitutionally due by mid-2025.
