St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Mr. Nevin Roach, Founder of PanoGrama Entertainment, has expressed pleasure in the St. Kitts-Nevis National Carnival Committee on a successful hosting of the Panorama Competiton held during the Sugar Mas 51 festivities.
Seven pan groups with approximately 220 individuals participated in the Panorama competition. Roach said he was particularly impressed with that number and the level of talent in the art form.
“Let me start by congratulating EBJ Harmonics [on] successfully defending their title and completing their hat trick of wins; a job well done. To me, the competition was entertaining, and it continues to improve each year. I [saw] a lot of young people participating, and I really loved that. It tells me that the future is very bright, especially considering that bands like Poinciana Rhythms came into the fold to compete for the very first time. It is evident that there is a wealth of Talent in the country. I hope that in the future, Panorama and steel pan, in general, are used increasingly to bring communities together to foster the development of well-rounded individuals on a national scale and to also open doors for those who will be pursuing careers in music. I would be more than happy to help in any way that I can through my organisation.”
Roach expressed his desire to support Panorama and the further development of pan music in St. Kitts and Nevis through PanoGrama Entertainment.
