St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda is now the Chair of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
Prime Minister Browne assumed the role on July 1, 2021 and succeeded Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Keith Rowley and Browne will serve for the next six months.
Dr. Rowley served for six months, from January 1 to June 30.
Browne holds responsibility for Services in the CARICOM Quasi Cabinet and will chair the virtual 42nd meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government for CARICOM set to begin on Monday, July 5.
