Basseterre, St.Kitts (WINN)- Police are asking anyone with information about two recent deaths on St. Kitts to contact the Violent Crime Unit.
Resident Pathologist Dr. Adrian Nunez performed an autopsy on the body of 38-year-old Keon Fyfield of Newtown and reported that his death was due to pulmonary embolism due to prolonged bed rest as a consequence of severe head trauma with a cerebral concussion.
Persons with information regarding this matter are asked to call the Violent Crime Unit at 467-1887,467-1888, 662-3468 or to contact the nearest police station.
Investigations are also continuing into the shooting death of 24-year-old Leon Phillip of La Guerite.
The police, on Wednesday, March 31, found Phillip’s body motionless on the ground in Newtown with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the chest after they responded to a report of shots being fired in the area.
The District Medical Officer visited the scene and pronounced him dead.
