St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Police have a person of interest in custody in connection to the death of a Bath Village man.
The victim succumbed to injuries that were sustained during an alleged altercation with a close relative a few weeks ago.
Police confirmed that investigations into the matter are ongoing.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, January 06, 2022, to determine the exact cause of death. Police say the results of the autopsy would confirm if it was an accident or a homicide.
Investigations so far have revealed that the man was taken to the Alexandra Hospital some weeks ago with injuries to the head and was being treated up until the time of his death on Monday, January 03, 2022.
