St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Commissioner of Police Hilroy Brandy has confirmed that officials have initiated a review of the incident between the Minister of Tourism Hon. Lindsay Grant and some of its officers.

A widely circulated video shows a verbal spat between Minister Grant and law enforcement officers.

Commissioner Brandy confirmed that Police will be looking into incident reports when the information becomes available from the officers on duty.

“I cannot give you a comment now because I have not gotten all the facts before me. I am waiting for all the officers that were present to submit their report so that I can study what they wrote and see what decision will have to be taken if any,” said Commissioner Brandy in a telephone interview with WINN on Monday (Jan. 10, 2022).

Efforts to contact Minister Grant were unsuccessful.

WINN will continue to investigate this matter.
