St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Investigations are continuing into the death of Arthur Jacobs, 62, of Ponds Pasture.
Mr. Jacobs died after an accident on the Bay Road close to 6 pm Thursday night. Videos of the fatality were posted on social media Friday, November 13.
In a release shared Sunday, November 15 around 4:30 p.m. the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force confirmed the fatality and said it was being investigated.
The accident occurred on the Island Bay Road near Sol Station sometime after 6:00 p.m.
A vehicle, P 7985 owned and driven by Inshan Mohammed of Pine Gardens, Shadwell Housing, collided with 62-years-old Arthur Jacobs of Ponds Pasture who was crossing the road at the time.
Mohammed was traveling from Birdrock towards Central Basseterre and after passing the main entrance of the Sol Station, collided with Jacobs.
Jacobs was transported to the JNF General Hospital by the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) via ambulance where he later died.
Monday morning, another image of what appeared to be a serious accident reportedly in the Cayon area made the rounds on social media Sunday afternoon.
