At approximately 9:16 p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire at a local business establishment owned by 41-year-old Terrence Ritchen.

Officers also visited the Joseph N. France General Hospital, where two male victims had been brought in by private vehicle.

The victims have been identified as Ritchen himself and 38-year-old Recaldo Marsham from Godwin Ghaut.

The body of Marsham has been secured pending an autopsy.
