St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is investigating the shooting death of Akeem Christopher.
Mr. Christopher was shot multiple times, in Newtown on December 07, 2020 by an unknown assailant, who reportedly fled the scene
The police received a report sometime after 10 pm, after which officers visited a shop in Carty Alley, Newtown which was operated by Christopher, the police statement read.
“Upon arrival, the Officers met Christopher’s motionless body laying on the floor with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. Preliminary investigations have revealed that Christopher was inside the establishment when an unknown assailant approached him and shot him multiple times before fleeing the scene.
The District Medical Officer visited the scene and pronounced Christopher dead.
The Federation has reportedly recorded 8 homicides this year and three individuals are still reported missing.
