St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Police are investigating a building break-in and larceny of a liquor shop in Nelson Spring over the weekend (Oct 31 – Nov 02).
Police Superintendent Lyndon David told WINN:
“We know that a number of drinks and a television were stolen and there were other things that were done at the premises; however, we are continuing our investigations thus far in terms of a suspect”.
He added, “We do not have a suspect in mind but as our investigation goes along we hope to get a suspect and do whatever we have to do in order to bring this person or persons to justice.”
Mr. David is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Cotton Ground Police Station at 469-5269. He is also warning that anyone found with stolen goods could face prosecution.
Items valued at close to EC$10,000 were reportedly stolen from the business place.
