St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – Two men were injured in a traffic accident along Wellington Road on November 9.
The accident involved motor omnibus HA179, which is owned and driven by Elroy Garnette of Lodge Village and motorcycle scooter RA1307 owned by Dakadan Scooter Rental ridden by Clifford Viera of Newtown.
According to the Police, HA179 was travelling along Wellington Road, from Basseterre, towards Molineaux. After passing the round-about, Garnette came to a stop to pick up a passenger and RA1307 collided with the bus’s rear end. A passenger from the bus who complained of neck pain and Viera, who sustained a broken leg, were taken to the Joseph N France General Hospital treated and discharged.
