St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – Videos circulating on Social Media shows an altercation involving a man in civilian clothes (an orange shirt and sweat pants) who is allegedly a Police Officer and two others.

The incident occurred at an establishment on Cayon Street, close to College Street Ghaut, last night (March 4).

In viewing the videos, a police officer is seen with a firearm in hand, an older man with blood flowing from his face and another with his clothes torn.

The video ended when several police officers arrived on the scene and tried to detain two individuals, who were then dragged away.

Unconfirmed reports suggested the altercation began because of a traffic accident.

A source disclosed that the officer involved should be in custody.

WINN’s news team reached out to the St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for more information, but the Public Relations Officer said they could not provide any additional context or clarification into the matter.

Investigations into this matter are ongoing.
