St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): With the arrival of 2000 AstraZeneca vaccines in St. Kitts and Nevis last week now confirmed by officials, questions are being raised about the rollout of that first batch.

Monday morning (February 15) WINN forwarded some of those questions to the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Hazel Laws.

Those questions include:

How many people can be vaccinated with the first delivery? Which population groups will get the first doses? (health workers, vulnerable people, over 70’s etc.)

How will the vaccine be administered?

Will there be vaccine centres set up in St. Kitts and Nevis?

Will there be an appointment system?

Is a register being compiled of people and their eligibility so that immunization can begin the moment the vaccine arrives in the Federation.
