St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) — Radio Personality Valentine Thomas, better known as “Val T”, was laid to rest Tuesday, January 12 at the Spring Field Cemetery following a celebration of life service at the Pro-Cathedral of St. George Basseterre.
The service was graced with the presence of top journalists and media professionals across St. Kitts and Nevis and saw hundreds of persons viewing the proceedings via a live stream on Sugar City 90.3 FM’s Facebook page. The service was packed with tributes by family and friends as well as African drum players and masquerades performing during and after the service.
Val T was a journalist and radio personality who was the owner of Sugar City (90.3) FM. He died on Sunday, December 27, 2020, after a long battle with kidney disease.
