St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Tony Gonzalez, Regional Field Officer for Gideons International, took a mission trip to the camps in St. Kitts and Nevis.
According to Gonzalez, the purpose of his visit was to encourage camp members to continue the great work with vision and faith; to provide training to Gideons and auxiliary members so that the outreach and work of the ministry may continue to move forward according to the Gideons guidelines and make an impact for eternity; to visit local pastors to establish and enhance relationships and also to celebrate a pastor’s event; to Distribute scriptures with camp members and sign up new Gideons and auxiliary members.
In Nevis, the activities included the distribution of scriptures to the Alexandra Hospital, the main healthcare facility on the island, as well as a dinner meeting with prospective members and pastors. About 20 pastors and their wives, as well as other invited guests, were in attendance.
In St. Kitts, Gonzalez did a scripture placement at all police stations on the island; he distributed testaments to all officers on duty and also prayed for them. In addition, Gonzalez paid a church visit to the Norwich Holiness Church in Basseterre, where he spoke about the work of the Gideons and also presented the Gospel on Sunday, March 26.
The Gideons International is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through associating together for service, sharing personal testimony and providing Bibles and New Testaments.
Gonzalez toured the Federation from Wednesday, March 23, to Sunday, March 26, 2023.
