Republic of China (Taiwan) Pledges US$600,000 For COVID-19 Vaccines

St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Republic of China on Taiwan is donating US$600,000 for the purchase of vaccines for St. Kitts and Nevis.

The money is to be used to help the Federation procure COVID-19 vaccines, once they become available, through the COVID-19 Vaccine Global Access Facility (COVAX)

St Kitts and Nevis has already made a down payment of EC$800,000 to COVAX to obtain vaccines to cover 20 percent of the population.
