Residents of SKN shaken by 3.7 magnitude tremor

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – A 3.7 magnitude tremor jolted St. Kitts and Nevis residents on Friday, March 25, 2022.

The tremor was felt at around 2 pm.

The UWI Seismic Research Centre reported that the quake was at latitude 17.43N and longitude 62.76W at a shallow depth of 3 kilometres.

Residents took to social media to confirm “they feel it.”

Earlier today, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake occurred at 8:41 am in the region. The tremblor was located at latitude 16.80N and longitude 60.95W at a depth of 10km.
