St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – Roots Athletic club out of Antigua, was the dominant force at the 2023 Culturama games, held at the Nevis Athletic stadium on Sunday 16th July.
It was a highly competitive event, featuring athletes and clubs from host island, Nevis, St. Kitts, Anguilla, Antigua and the USA.
The races were run in two segments: There was a morning session and an afternoon session, which concluded sometime after 9 pm.
Those races included: 800, 1500, 1200, 400, 200, 100 and 4X100 meters.
There were also some field events as well.
The top placements were:
Roots Athletic Club-Antigua-10 gold, 3 silver, 6 bronze
Titans Athletic Club-Nevis-8 gold, 4 silver, 2 bronze
Rainbow Rockets-Anguilla-7 gold, 9 silver, 11 bronze
Wings Sports Club-Antigua-7 gold, 2 silver, 9 bronze
Over the top track club-Nevis-6 gold, 8 silver, 3 bronze
CSS Lions-Nevis-4 gold, 6 silver, 7 bronze
Super Nova Athletics-Antigua-2 gold, 5 silver, 7 bronze
