Basseterre, St. Kitts — In keeping with this year’s Rotary International theme, ‘Serve to Change Lives’, the Rotary Club of Liamuiga distributed school supplies to deserving students at the start of this new school year.
With contributions in cash and kind from club members, corporate sponsors and well-wishers, the Rotary Club of Liamuiga was able to distribute backpacks and stationery to select students at eight (8) primary schools in St. Kitts. This distribution marks the 3rd of such distributions by the Rotary Club of Liamuiga and, from all accounts, it was a success. The smiles on the students’ happy faces and their parent’s expression of gratitude motivates the Rotary Club of Liamuiga to continue to make contributions to the well-being of members in society.
The club thanks its friends and family, TDC, Best Buy, China Town, David Coury & Co. Ltd, Karibhana Trading Ltd and St. Kitts Marine Works Ltd for their self-less contribution to this Back—to-School package distribution. The club invites other sponsors and well-wishers to come on aboard for future charitable events. The Rotary Club of Liamuiga also thanks the principals of the various schools who collaborated with the club. The Rotary Club of Liamuiga wishes all students and teachers in the Federation a safe and successful new school year!
