St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): In a proactive move to encourage preventive healthcare, prominent insurance company Sagicor Life Inc. is leading a comprehensive health screening initiative for its clients and the general public.
The initiative, which will be held in collaboration with the Windsor University Medical Team, aims to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and more effective monitoring of one’s health status.
Services included screenings for blood pressure, physical examination of the heart and lungs, glucose metabolic rate, body mass index (BMI), body temperature checks, electrocardiography, eye examinations, and consultations with medical professionals.
By offering free health checks, the insurance company aims to empower individuals to take charge of their health before serious or life-threatening conditions develop, encourage preventive measures, and support improved health outcomes, ultimately leading to lower long-term healthcare costs.
This initiative reflects a growing trend in which private sector entities in St. Kitts and Nevis are taking a more active role in promoting preventive healthcare and overall well-being.
The company has scheduled the health screening for Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, downtown Basseterre, West of the old Treasury Building.
