St. Lucia (St. Lucia Times) – A Saint Lucian is one of the Vice Presidents of the Union Network International Global Union (UNI) Youth Executive.
A recent virtual conference of UNI youth delegates elected Johann M Harewood, 32.
Harewood is also the Secretary General of the National Workers Union (NWU) here.
But the NWU said in his UNI position, he will be serving the interests of young people in the Caribbean and the Americas.
UNI as a Global Union represents more than 20 million workers.
The workers represent over 150 countries.
