The St Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) is inviting interested persons to tender for the provision of Cleaning and Janitorial Services at the Deep-Water Port, being Area 1 and Port Zante and Basseterre Ferry Terminal being Area 2 from 1st July 2021 to 1st July 2022.
The Cleaning and Janitorial Contractor will be required to:
a. Provide high quality professional cleaning and janitorial services, in accordance with
Covid-19 and all other current health protocols and regulations in an efficient manner, to all areas of the interior and exterior of the Seaport Administration Building, Operations Terminal Building, Mechanic Maintenance Building, Guard Huts, Sheds, Port Zante Reception Building and surrounding areas, and Basseterre Ferry Terminal.
b. Coordination and scheduling of work hours, provision of supplies/materials, personal protective equipment (PPE’s) and other relevant equipment for the staff to provide round the clock superior and efficient service in accordance with all current and relevant health protocols regulations and requirement.
c. Ensure adequate supply of approved detergents, paper towels, toilet tissues and the
relevant sanitizing dispensers for all bathrooms, and other open spaces and entrances in accordance with COVID-19 protocols and relevant health standards.
Tenders for all Cleaning and Janitorial Contracts are required to submit a comprehensive
business proposal, including the business profile, experience, past projects, staff complement equipment capacity, and proposed costs and at least two references. Separate tenders should be submitted for Area 1 and Area 2.
The deadline for submission of tenders is April 30th, 2021.
