St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): In light of the community spread currently being experienced, all public and private schools in St. Kitts and Nevis will remain closed until September 2021.
That was revealed by the Minister of Education, Jonel Powell, when he spoke at the June 03 Prime Minister’s press conference.
“The Ministry of Education has taken the decision that we will not resume school for face-to-face instruction for the remainder of the school year. This is as a result of the community spread.”
On May 24 2021 the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Ministry of Health made the decision to close all schools in the federation for a two-week period in the first instance.
