St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN)-On Wednesday, January 13, 2021, a total of 92 persons from St. Kitts and Nevis graduated from the University of the West Indies (UWI).
Of that total, 48 persons graduated from the UWI Cave Hill/ Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) franchise with Masters of Education Degrees in three areas: Educational Leadership; Language and Literacy Education; School Counseling.
Thirty-four persons graduated with a range of qualifications including Doctor of Education, Master of Science, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education, Associate of Science, Diploma, and Certificates from the UWI Open Campus on St. Kitts.
The 2020 UWI Virtual Graduation Ceremony took place at the Antioch Baptist Church.
Dr. the Right Hon. Sir Kennedy Simmonds was awarded an honorary degree from UWI in the area of public service leadership.
Deputy Prime Minister Shawn Richards offered commendations, in brief remarks, at the Prime Minister’s press conference on January 14.
