Sir Kennedy Simmonds Exhibit Opens At National Museum

St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Highlighting the work and accomplishments of the Federation’s only living National Hero, Sir Kennedy is the purpose of a new exhibition currently underway at the St. Christopher National Trust.

The exhibition, which opened on Wednesday at the National Trust, showcases his life and time in Government.

Governor-General Sir Tapley Seaton during the ceremony reflected on the life and achievement of Sir Simmonds.

President of the Trust Schneidman Warner also paid tribute to the living national hero, while underscoring the importance of preserving our history and heritage through this exhibition.

Executive Director at the Trust, Ryllis Percival revealed that the cost of mounting the exhibit was $18,000 dollars.

The exhibit will be on display until January 2021.
