St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): An accident involving a six-year-old pedestrian and a motor van in the Dieppe Bay area is under investigation.
According to a police statement, Thursday (November 26), the incident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday (November 24).
Motor Van TA 192, driven by Keanu Gardiner was reportedly traveling along the Island Main Road in Dieppe Bay when the incident occurred. The child was reportedly crossing the street in front of an omnibus, police said when she was struck.
She sustained injuries to her face and legs and was transported to the JNF General Hospital by ambulance where she is listed as being in a “stable” condition.
