St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Following initial reports of the contract reached between the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis and the National Housing Corporation (NHC) with the Trinidadian-based East Coast Housing Development – Housing and Human Settlement Minister, Hon. Dr Geoffrey Hanley in a national address provided more details about the 2,400 homes to be built in the next four year.
The 2,400 affordable smart homes will have one-bedroom homes to cost EC$111,000, the two-bedrooms around EC$213,000, and the three-bedrooms EC$297,000 – all equipped with a refrigerator, stove and solar water heater.

As shared by the Acting Prime Minister, applicants can apply for a home online starting May 08, 2023 – applicants can also look forward to financial institutions’ provisions of low-interest mortgage loans to qualified applicants.
