St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Two imported cases Monday afternoon (November 23) take the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Federation to 22.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Hazel Laws made the announcement Tuesday (November 24) at a special briefing organized by the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC).
” Yesterday afternoon the ministry of health received two positive laboratory reports.. for two returning nationals who arrived in the Federation last Saturday, November 21..this brings the total number of confirmed cases .. to 22,” reported Dr. Laws.
The individuals have been quarantined since arrival and protocols established were adhered to, from arrival at the Robert L Bradshaw International Airport to where they are staying assured Dr. Laws.
” All passengers who arrived on the same flight are quarantined and confined to their rooms”.
St Kitts and Nevis has recorded 22 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 19 recoveries.
